FauxAmish Now I see My friend why your game has improved so much in the last three years. Fun of Playing, Fun of Enjoying that Play, Fun of Experiencing those enjoying that Fun! 😎😎😎😎😎😎😎
azgreg Still in the group. We're playing an off season tourney tomorrow. The Plan B Invitational in honor of No Fuck February.
DonM azgreg My son in law would be a good fit for that league. He's a lapsed 90's shooter who needs to start getting out again. He's in the PHX area. Could he still get into it this season?
SVonhof Supp That looks like a helluva good idea. No leagues up in my part of the world though. Start one up!
garyt1957 I play in something similar called The Mulligan Tour here. It's open to all handicaps though, but mainly geared for bogey golfers. Best players are around 4 hdcp, up to 30's. Weekly tournaments usually one on Sat and Sun. I played about 15 tournaments a year but now that I'm retired and can play during the week and at senior rates I'll probably play much less. I'm playing with a group where we can play the best courses in the area for $40 and usually way less where the tournaments can run up to $70. Plus there's no one else out there on weekday mornings. But the competition is fun.
azgreg Thread revival alert!!!! We have another off season event scheduled. This time it's next month down at Rocky Point Mexico. The B'low Average Challenge. Here's the rules: B'low Average Challenge Rules: There is a 3 drink/beer minimum, after your 3 drink/beer minimum every drink/beer you have after that will come off your score. MGA handicaps will be used. For example: when you drink 12 drinks/beers and shoot a smooth 115 and you have 2 penalty strokes your score will be 115 + 2 penalty strokes = 117 - 9 drinks/beers for a total score of 108. You can still play if you dont drink but you will not be eligible for the B'low Average Challenge Trophy. You will however be required to help me with the math since you will be sober...
Mattyv azgreg What course is this on Greg? Links at Las Polomas? If so it is a very fun course. I got 3 rounds on that course last year.

Sounds like a law suit waiting to happen, especially in today's day and age.
Mattyv azgreg I understand not making it. I am not traveling anywhere in the near future either. I do recommend the course and Rocky Point in general. October is a great time to head down there.
azgreg Mattyv We go to Rocky Point all the time. My wife's cousin has a place right on the beach just south of the pier area.
azgreg We have a cool event this weekend. Our chapter is playing the Las Vegas chapter in a Ryder Cup style tourney at Emerald Canyon Golf Course just outside Parker near Lake Havasu. Should be a lot of fun.
azgreg Playing a new course next weekend for the F.U. Open. Sterling Grove Golf & Country Club. Looks great. Can't wait. https://www.sterlinggroveclub.com/golf
