They basically force a membership on you in the store, not the same online.

Wow, I thought you needed a membership to shop online too, but I just looked and saw that anyone can buy anything from Costco.com and just pay a 5% surcharge. No wonder those things were selling out so fast online, you didn't even need a membership to buy them!

Just picked up two boxes for $29.99 at store in Northern Pittsburgh area Costco. They had 2 pallets on the floor...Maybe I should go back and fill up the pick-up and begin selling on EBay in 2 weeks...

raggmann54 Why wait 2 weeks? They are going for $40/doz. on Facebook GCT tonight!! Even more actually, as some are trading their ProV1s for them, even up.

Yeah, I'd love to know the percentage of these that end up being resold on eBay or the like.

Third time trying to get 'em, can't. Fuck this noise. I wouldn't go through this much shit just to find a good woman.

    What a fucking rigmarole....

I was a Costco member at their Exec level for the cash back. I tried and tried to buy these balls online as their nearest store is 70 miles away. I wrote a lengthy letter to customer service and explained all the hoops I tried to jump through with an online order to no avail. Rec'd back a short reply that was simply a standard response. Didn't renew and never will join again. I've even learned to hate eating all of their organic crap that is predominately on their shelves that negates a lot of the savings on our food bill.

Thanks for teeing it up for me to rant /

Everybody relax, there's nothing that special about these balls, or pro v's for that matter unless your a long hitting scratch player. If you really want a urathane cover ( I don't, don't go far enough for a 94 mph 10 handicapper) Golfworks has top flight hammer tours for 14.99. If you hit a 7 iron onto the front of the green and it rolls off the back it's not the ball, it's a miss hit line drive. If you want it to hit the green and stop dead that's only good if you can ram dunk it. If your good enough to hit 6 feet over the pin and back it in you should be able to hit 6 feet in front and roll it in. I can hit any top flute with my lob and it takes a hop or two and stops.

Never seen one, never been in Costco. I have plenty of pro v's and was a top flute gamer guy but I found 2 piece syrlyns just go farther. Every review I have read says it's similar to pro v.

Pretty sure it's spelled rigamarole. 😁

I'm with Tinker. It's a decent golf ball and a good value but don't get your panties wet trying to score a bunch of them unless you want to flip them. I got 4 dozen the first round. Played one sleeve and flipped the rest.

Still not understanding why people pay so much for balls. And, for the most part, are using the wrong ball for their abilities!! That's right, boys and girls, there are balls you should be using. And there are balls you should never use. At least 2 of us here know that already.😉

It's rampant here in FL. Tons of guys buying Prov1s with 80 mph swing speeds. The marketing and PGA Tour presence sells stuff.

Played with a young dude back in the fall and on the second hole he blasted his pro v into the woods. He was in there forever trying to find his ball. If you can't afford to loose them you can't afford to use them.

if you really want a cheap replacement for a Titleist prov1, just get a box of mg balls. $19.99 a dozen, available all the time on line, no membership required, etc. Robot tested versus the Titleist and it is longer off the driver and only spins about 150 less off the wedge.

          Total no-brainer. https://mggolf.com/golf-balls/#C4

Par4QC I'm wondering if it's "okay" with you if as a 14 handicap I play Pro VI's. (Because I get mine for free.) LOL I'll await your reply and approval.

Tinker Who is this Tinker guy?! He makes an awful lot of sense. Very unusual for internet golf forums. LOL

Sorry, I can't play that ball as I am not an AARP member yet.
