sdandrea1 Where do we stand with gender for tees now? Never mind, save that for another forum.

On our golf trip, we were at a kind of intimidating par 3. Maybe 175 yds and most of that was carrying water. Biggest hitter on our trip, 6' 8" or so and can hit it a mile, but is 22 hcp, steps up and just about whiffs. The balls goes a few yards out and backward, but stays on the tee box. We did not enforce the customary rule, but he did have to buy the next round.

KCee Where do we stand with gender for tees now?

I have drawn up and executed a Gender-Neutral Last Tee Executive Order declaring that Tee Boxes are to be described by the color of their markers or their position in the order. The most forward tees can be referred to as Forward and the longest tees can be referred to as Tips. Other than those 2 nicknames, keep gender out of it.

All of my scorecards show this.

They even show a Silver at one course....ahead of the reds.
I may play them once just to say I shot my son's age. 😄And drove some Par 4 holes.

Walterjn no, then it's MANDATORY to get your tee shot past them.

LOL! I've actually hit tee shots that left the ball on the teeing ground I was standing on. 😵‍💫

sdandrea1 I have actually had a couple tee shots that the club head went under the ball, and the ball sat back down on the tee. I had it teed up trying to launch one high with my 3 wood. Wanted to see how far I could send it.

Par4QC I don't like them. Never have. I've picked them to give to others, and that's all.

Par4QC As long as no one mentions avocados, we're good to go!

Let's talk about how much I hate guacamole.

😫I never gave that a thought.
Heading to store in the morning.
Will plant the seeds in the back yard.
        Beside the chicken coop.

        My gr-grandkids will be thankful.

sdandrea1. But they still only rate the one or two most forward tees for women so they'll still be the "women's tees". Just can't worry about it and play where you're comfortable playing from.

They haven't built those tees yet......unless you count the 150 yard marker as a tee box.

There is such a thing as the junior “orange” tees…they are sometimes closer than the 150yd marker AND in the short grass 🤣😆
