Ack8236 I stretch a bit before playing hockey. I too have horrible flexibility in the hammies. I think about stretching more, yoga or something else, but I really need to DO it and not just think about it.
raggmann54 Ack8236 I'm still in the "think about" stage. I know and feel I need to do it but been procrastinating...Used to be a runner and did flexibility every day in the younger version of me. At 78 I better get started - probably sign up for a class at the Y and go because I need other people doing it with me to keep of my motivation...
braveheart raggmann54 That’s why I load a bunch of videos on YouTube into one list and do them in order. Keeps it organized, simple and therefore easy for me to stay disciplined .
garyt1957 colej Do you ever watch any of the Titleist TPI videos? Most of the exercises and stretching they’re doing aren’t that old bend from waist and try to touch your toes. Nope, never really have. I want to try yoga. Tried it once but again, the beginning position was a stretch for me.

That would have been me if I hadn't blown out my back in '08. My surgeon told me the only way to avoid a repeat was to keep the core strong and the core/legs flexible. I am having trouble seeing my feet before I bend over, though. 😡
Par4QC I'm fairly flexible. But will never buy/eat wheat bread. I'd drink tea if someone offers, but have coffee when at home. I have even used chocolate milk on my cereal.
bogeypro I've always had a thick, muscular Eastern European body type typically called mesomorph. Flexibility has never been my strong suit & now my Boomer tummy affects my flexibility even more. Oh well, beats the long dirt nap 😁
