garyt1957 Adjustable driver? Close the face

Missed this. For his 3-5 degree open face this is good advice. Just set it to the highest loft which closes the face. Also, he could try a draw bias driver which will have more weight in the heel.

That moves the center of gravity more towards the heel allowing for a little more toe gear effect etc.. In all the tests I’ve seen the Ping SFT line offers the most left bias in a driver.

backinit Just hit the damn ball....and then go to Costco and get a Diet Coke & a hot dog.

    Fixed it

I'm not saying it's guaranteed to work but would be the easiest thing to try first. One minute adjustment and a few swings will give you the answer

Wow does this seem true to me. I just got one and from early trials it might have even too much correction for me. I didn't think they could effect flight that much.

Sneakylong I notice most of my buddies (all slicers) never use the +Loft or Draw setting or thereabouts to have a more square or closed face. For years I always used the TaylorMade Neutral/Upright setting, but have mainly used Plus loft + Draw settings the last few years. I find a lot of the recent drivers seem to have the face several degrees open in the Std setting.

I was an idiot and told one of my golf buddies about this after he got his new Cally driver last year. He now hits it longer and straighter than ever. He is my main worry in money matches now since I still have to give him strokes.

Bravopilot I play country, mostly older/ older sounding country. Very few people I have played with dislike my on course music. It is kept at a low volume, as it's for my pleasure. At 10' it's hard to hear.
Big band might be a nice change of pace.

KCee mostly just to distract myself from thinking too much. Big band isn't bad music, I like Bob wills and his Texas playboys, Bing Crosby always seemed to have a large band backing him.

We play 60's and 70's. This is at 7:00 AM. If the golf mowers don't wake people up we will with the music. lol
