scotts33 I would be interested in hearing how Integra fits into your business plan/product line. I know that you deal in Wishon and Swing Science, both of which, I believe, are premium (and premium priced) components. How does Integra align with these in your business? How do they perform in comparison? (Like I said in my comment above, I have a feeling that there's not that much difference. Is there a performance difference that justifies the price difference?)
What/Who is Integra?
As promised, a few words from Steve...............
Rex....it's just as legitimate as any other component company out there without the hype. They mainly sell wholesale but as the retail accounts are thinning out they are selling direct to the consumer like many others more and more. They have been around since the early 90's and are known as a clone company for the most part. But, who cares, so are all of the rest of the large and mid-size component companies. Occasionally they show a spark of originality, but that is rare. Whatever the case, Integra makes a solid product that works well and most consumers truly enjoy. They do stand behind their products as well. And their prices are fantastic both wholesale and retail.
I've used several Integra clubs through the years; still use their Sooolong 460cc Cupface driver from time to time. Only thing I dislike about some of their heads, esp. the FW heads, is the closed faces. If they were square, imo, they would probably be some of the best in the business. (For my game anyway.)
Thanks! Very interesting.
accufitgolf
that's certainly an interesting site navigation wise
accufitgolf Thanks, accufit. I did see that, but like Mcavoy says, the site and the products featured on it seem pretty dated. I couldn't quite figure out if it was current or not. Like I say, it doesn't seem to have some of the Integra product that I have see around. As much as anything, I was wondering about people's experience with these clubs and what their quality/performance was like. The price points are very good.
I'm using an Integra 450 driver that I bought about 12 - 15 years ago! It always was the driver I hit the best, and believe me, I've tried a ton of them. It's "old technology," i.e. not the highest COR that you can get now, but for some reason I hit it on the sweet spot more than any other driver I ever owned. I took it to Florida with me this winter with a new "senior" flex shaft in it, and proceeded to hit the hell out of it. So, I guess it's kicked a year old
Wishon 919 out of the bag for now!
