As I think of Costco Mrs. Yipsy thinks of me.. At least she loves Costco and that's what matters even though shopping there is a drain on our personal economy.

She has agreed to purchase rotisserie chicken there as it's a much better deal. We usually buy 3 at Walmart deskin them and put them in a giant tupperware bowl and eat off it for 4 days.

Yipsy I got it with an In-store instant savings thing for $24

      You have chosen wisely.👍

      Typhoon

$24 for 5.64 lbs? Now that is the kind of deal I like. Never seen one that good.

What's weird is I just checked the label of ON and online it shows Acesulfame potassium as a sweetener. I looked at the one bottle I have left here and there isn't any on my label. Not sure if they just switched to add it to their ingredient list or if they just took it out?

Yipsy I don’t read labels. I’ve been taking that one for years. Same flavor too, Vanilla ice cream

          Typhoon

Vanilla is so good. Thin Mints was much better than I thought. Very good stuff.

Not reading labels? Maybe for the best. 🤣

I want to know how you got a 5.64lb bottle of protein powder for less than 5 bucks a pound. That is stealing. I need to direct my wife to an in-store savings thing. Do you mean it was just on the label for 24 bucks. That's a savings of 44 dollars off regular price. Insane.

Yipsy the big sign on the display had all the rebate math. It was a few months back

Yipsy My wife loves Costco too, but I'm not as big a fan. There are some good deals, but now that it's usually just 2 of us in the house I think there are fewer deals to be had. I would rather pay a little extra if necessary and get stuff from Amazon, WalMart or grocery store.

Walmart and the grocery stores are busy, but Costco by us is like DisneyWorld. The parking lot is always 99% full and there is one super slow way in and then out. Their checkout line is usually pretty fast, but it takes so long to drive in, park and then drive back out that I'm ready to stick something in my eye....there is less traffic driving through Hartford during my morning commute! It's just too busy there for me. I'm definitely an online shopper because I hate people.

AND our Costco never has the Kirkland bourbon! wtf? Another reason to ditch the membership.

I just love it when a customer sends us a revised blueprint on a part that is 75% complete.

jsippy73 What are you making (parts)?

I work for ATD Precision Manufacturing. I work as a Quality Engineer. We make parts for the aerospace industry: Honeywell, SpaceX, Northrop Grumman, General Dynamics etc.

Yipsy Makes great sense when you're thirsty to buy 40 bottles of water when you need just one becuse it's such a good deal.

Should have taken her to aisle that leads from the checkouts to the exit. There is a machine where you can buy a
                  bottled water for 25 cents.

                    mulegolf

I know. We used to frequent this same Costco years ago. This is just how she rolls. It's a sight to behold when you don't roll like she does.

                    propman

                    Depends on your palette.

The Small Batch is a good starter bourbon. Low Proof and a Easy Sipper.

The BIB is Pretty Decent both on its own and as a mixer.

But the Single Barrel...That's The Star of the Bunch! 120 proof and around $30, What's Not To Like!

Not this time but one time SpaceX changed a drawing in the middle of a run that caused all the parts to be scrapped at a cost to SpaceX of about $125,000.
