Or maybe in the last quarter of every game, the flags are taken away from the refs. 😎

Ok, here's my complaint. The damned self-checkout at the grocery store... it constantly talks, and it often tells me to do something that I've already done.

An example from today... 'put the item in the bagging area' after I just finished putting the item in the bagging area! So I tell lt (as lf it can hear me) 'I DID! ' and then it repeats 'put the item in the bagging area!' And then it gets pissed, brings up a 'help is coming soon' icon and starts the flashing light.
Then you hava to stand there waiting for somebody to come over and treat you like you are a moron; you know, roll their eyes, 'what'd you do? ' yada yada.

Listen, if you want me to do your job for you, let me do the job, and don't tell me that I'm doing it wrong!

I feel better now.

I have just left stuff piled on the scanner and left. I will NOT use those things. If i have 1 item, maybe... a Home Depot emergency part that is needed. I am not a check out clerk.

My wife and I did leave over $400 worth of groceries and other things in the cart at a self check out in WalMart
when the damn thing wouldn't work right. We just walked away and informed them that we wouldn't be back.
      Let them restock it. 🤬

Packaging. I wonder how many thousands are injured every year trying to get an item out of the package. Even if you are being careful. I'm sure some pretty serious injuries and probably some eye injuries, some are almost impossible. The plastic is thick and tough. All in the name of anti theft assholes.

jsippy73 So true. I can see myself having a stroke trying to open one of those things without a knife or scissors. It's either that or my sneezing 10X in row that will get me.

Stu1961 Legalize offensive pass interference too … and now we’ve got a game!

        Or playground basketball. LOL

Are we allowed to post someone's name?

I don’t buy much so the self checkout is fine. I do laugh though at Walmart where they have 10 registers with nobody on them and a line 100’ long for the self checkouts with Mohammed guiding everyone to the checkout with the green light.

Bravopilot Wife does most of grocery shopping. I sometimes do it but a list is a must have. With a few items always the self checkout. But my favorite is when you do to a regular checkout and they pretend you are not there or are talking with each other about when they are going on break, or on a rare occasion when I use cash, they don't have the change they need and have to call the stupidvisor. (Walmart).

Same thing up here - boggles my mind why people stay in the self checkout line sometimes unless they are all trying to steal an item or 2.
