THAT was a good battle.....though the decision was totally wrong!IMO
And Netflix needs to work on their live streaming buffering issues.🤬

YouTube is not the "source" of new music. There's a ton of fantastic musicians out there in each and every conceivable genre. Gawd, I'm tired of "everythings" "all the time".

No doubt. But I like when rhythm and melody ruled. Maybe there are some artists I'd like, but there's no more top 40 radio and I have no desire to search for songs.

I think I know one song each from the top two female artists Beyonce (Freedom) and Taylor Swift (Shake It Off). My favorite decade for music was the 70's.

I do watch a lot of reaction videos where younger people listen to songs from my era and they love the music. No auto-tune etc.. Music has changed and I'm not a fan.

Yes, the entire time. And I've never had those issues with any streaming from Netflix nor any of my other streaming services except, Peacock always has a 'jitery' stream/picture.

That was a first for me. I've not really watched real boxing since Ali/Frazier. And I've never seen a female boxing match. I've seen some highlights of Rhonda Rousey. Those were not "girls". Those were women and they just beat the living shit out of one another. I think they might have continued right to the grave. I've not seen anything like that. The Tyson fight was silly shit. I fell asleep.

professor I'm not sure I understand what you are trying to say. There are a lot of artists who use YouTube to release new music, which then becomes available for download on Spotify, etc. I am not saying that YouTube is the source of ALL new music, obviously, but it certainly is ONE of the sources.

I'm a music fanatic and audiophile. I don't do "streaming" although plenty of my friends do. It's real convenient. But it would never replace my vinyl. And what I was more focused on and meaning to convey in my post was simply that there are lots of amazing new artists, groups, soloists-vocals, and both new and traditional styles of music available.

I too am somewhat of an audiophile. I have a nice , high end 80's system dedicated solely for vinyl listening downstairs.

I also have a more upscale system in my living room with a McIntosh music server with about 750 mostly jazz and blues albums all in Hi Resolution ( FLAC) . I have made myself a music laptop that has another 2000 or so albums, again in Hi Res (several formats) but no lower than 24/96. This feeds a high quality DAC and into my amp.

I have bought a number of albums off HD Tracks and will use high resolution streaming services like Tidal, Linn Music etc . One of my fav streaming stations is Radio Paradise and they have several choices for the quality.

I have a few different speakers , one best suited for rock, others best for jazz and vocals

Yes sir! You got it. When I first contracted cancer I decided that I'd invest in an upscale sound system. I've been into stereo systems and my own music since my early teens. My aversion to "streaming music" is quite simple. And, since you appreciate the importance of a quality DAC, I know you get it. I just can't! I've so much invested in vinyl and CD's along with interconnects, etc.. I cannot go down another rabbit hole. Music genre's? I like most everything in a range starting with orchestral (btw, Deutsche Grammaphon's new Original Source re-mastered collection is striking) to folk, acoustic, vocalists, rock - from Stones, Dead, Allman Bros., and on and on. along with a lot of damn good new artists!

Wasn't really rooting for Paul just never liked Tyson after the bullshit he did with Evander.
And yes he spent time in prison.
In his prime Tyson was the best heavyweight there was, but seemed to always find ways to
piss his skills and money down the drain.

darpar Jake Paul has much better boxing skills than I had expected, but then again fighting
a guy waaaay past his prime makes it sort of hard to judge him.

Paul has fought exactly one guy who is a true professional boxer in his prime...and he lost. And the guy who beat him wasn't good. He'd get destroyed in any real fight with a ranked boxer.
