I don't know how it happened but the Dodgers were my second favorite team. Duke Snyder was my second favorite player back then. I still rooted for the Yankees when they faced each other in a World Series. I became a Yankee fan when a friend of my uncle's (an old Army buddy) would come out here every other summer for a couple of weeks. He lived in Yonkers, NY and was a Yankee season ticket holder. He would always bring me Yankee stuff, Hats, pennants, etc. This was before the Twins came to MN.
