When I fit somebody if funny how all they care about is how far the ball went, not how much more accurate they were. Most times I give up… “yeah, great… you need to buy it🙄”

I remember so many guys refusing to loft up no matter if a 12* driver gave them +20 yards. "I've always used 9.5*!". They weren't going to use an "R" flex shaft either.....playing in jeans and a t-shirt was ok though because they weren't totally purists about the game's traditions 🤣

sdandrea1 exactly. I trust Golfworks as it relates cg as they publish ACTUAL data on ALL of their designs, as well as other manufacturers who provide them the sticks to test. OEM's can say these clubs have lower cg/vcog, but show me the data that supports it. What do we get from them, mostly marketing! Who was it that went on a 17/1700 campaign🤔....🤮

Years ago when I worked for Polar Heart Rate and we would discuss potential new products, I pushed hard for monitoring heart rate for golfers. I'm not normally a slimy marketing guy, but I figured an infomercial showing players improving their putting or shots under pressure with lower heart rate would sell because some golfers will buy anything. Plus the watches already had the ability to measure tempo so that could have been another selling point. Unfortunately I was the only golfer in the room so that idea went nowhere and then Garmin ate their lunch with GPS watches lol.

Used to hear that all of the time down here concerning luck at fishing back in the 70's and 80's.

Par4QC heard that many times when I was working for an old hot rodder. He'd pop off with either you need to hold your mouth right. Or you need to hold your tongue right. Depending on what I was try to put together while it was above my head and I couldn't see it.
