Vinegar soak (maybe add baking soda) , wet sand and razor blade will work.
Maybe acetone on a stubborn spot only.
Less smell than acetone and other stuff and less evaporation.
Takes some patience.

Buy a can of Citristrip. I used it to take out paint fill. Spray it on, wait a bit and wipe it off

I use a brass wire wheel on a motor to strip paint from heads. You may be able to do the same with a wire wheel attachment that fits into a drill or dremel.

Believe that the acetone will eat through the zip lock bag in no time.

mulegolf Yes it would. I meant to add that you would need to wrap it in foil before putting in zip lock bag.

I tried the club in battle yesterday. It is very hard to draw, and that was what I wanted. The stiff Aldila Proto By You shaft is stout but okay. It messes up my timing a little but if I concentrate, it’s okay. For the long run, I’ll want something in R flex.

Compared to my fairway woods with their 9° torque shafts and SGI heads, which give me big draws all day. So now I’m going to be looking for fairway woods that are weight forward, with stiffer tip shafts. Thinking maybe PXG because of their adjustable weights and aftermarket shafts.

I had an Adams Idea V3 hybrid once that was GREAT for about 2 seasons, then it became a "Pull-hook Machine!"
Still have the head.....#6 hybrid. Maybe I'll shaft it up and see if it still has any poon left. Best hybrid I ever had.....for a while, at least!

fatshot Remember the original Rescues, and the Jackaroo and those types? They were slim and probably didn't have that draw bias. I've finally realized that a hybrid that is broad from front to back, with the weight in the back, is going to try to close the face. Up until this year I was a bit over the top and holding off the release, so that worked out for me. Now I'm coming in shallower, more from the inside, and the SGI woods and hybrids are hook city. I'm glad I got to try this skinny Adams hybrid. It shows me that I can buy some clubs that don't hook. Not sure I'll have much luck finding higher lofts though. Like, "Show me your players model 9 wood please." 🙂
