Will acetone remove this paint?

I bought this Adams Idea Pro hybrid for $12.99 local pickup at Clubfinders. Going to pick it up tomorrow. I’m just going to make it naked. I don’t want to spend ten bucks on paint remover. Will acetone do it?

I use a brass wire wheel on a motor to strip paint from heads. You may be able to do the same with a wire wheel attachment that fits into a drill or dremel.

Probably loosen it if soaked or with acetone soaked rags in a zip lock bag as it evaporates so quickly.
Gasoline may also soften it and one of the green scruɓy pads.

600 grit sandpaper.

jsippy73 That was my other thought. I might have some 400 wet/dry paper. Not sure about 600.

This club will audition for the spot of straight, low, running tee shot and layup club. Like a driving iron except a little more friendly. One of my friends plays one.

I have used a heat gun/source and brass brush successfully.
keep heat away from hosel!

Vinegar soak (maybe add baking soda) , wet sand and razor blade will work.
Maybe acetone on a stubborn spot only.
Less smell than acetone and other stuff and less evaporation.
Takes some patience.

Buy a can of Citristrip. I used it to take out paint fill. Spray it on, wait a bit and wipe it off

mulegolf Yes it would. I meant to add that you would need to wrap it in foil before putting in zip lock bag.
