candukid True, but you forgot to consider the 'want factor' of buying anything new. 'Want' comes without regard to pricing.
I too think Maltby is off their rockers with pricing. Along with a few other DTC companies.

But, if I want them, I'll buy them.😉

Plus....you do know there is a 'work-around' with your costs, if you 'want' anything from down here. 👍No extra fees !!

Downside to them is must buy the set as is, one shaft , one grip, and 4-pw or 3-pw. Most OEMs buyer is now able to get a short set plus loft/lie, length, and a decent selection of no upcharge grip and shaft. Not happening with Costco.

ode Yes for me Costco is not the best choice as the selection is too limited....but at their prices they become a possible component lol.
I was interested in a Takomo fairway at one point, but I couldn't pick out a 75g shaft so it didn't seem worth it. Sub70 may do the best job of offering a better selection at less than the big OEMs, but they're not inexpensive either. No DTC is perfect I suppose

I already had the 8 iron head that I previously built up as a demo club (see pic below) so I only needed to order these 4 additional heads to make it a 6-PW set 👍

We're basically down to Golfworks, ValueGolf, Diamond Tour, LogicalOne, and Hireko for domestic supply of club heads. Wishon is out there, but in UK. Diamond Tour, Hireko and Value Golf all have some brands in common, so Wishon and Golfworks are the only original designs, I think. Who did I leave out?
