DonM Most of my problems creep in from lazy setup practices. So I'm practicing a routine to get the setups right for full swing, chipping, putting.

This is what I have been working on the most as of recent…consistency & discipline with my pre-shot routines… to help solidify proper ball positions as well as avoid becoming too stiff/stationary and/or hesitant over the ball.
Only one smooth practice swing just prior to my routine of addressing the ball: reach out and align the club face to what I have chosen on the ground not too far ahead of the ball…then step in with feet together & ball centered…then align my feet, set stance width according to club, quick grip check…no more than 2 small waggles while I am inhaling a larger than normal breath (as @Spuzz suggested above)…smooth relaxed last look down the target line while beginning my slow exhale and then Send It right at the end of exhale.
Additionally, really trying hard to discipline myself to make the right course management decisions (e.g. taking my medicine, center of greens, split the long shot into 2 shots when required, etc.)
