Trying to find my swing from 5 years ago, I've been trying minor tweaks.
Today, watching Olympic golf, I thought maybe my swing is too flat and need to keep the club more in front of me.
It starts at setup by holding my hands a bit higher at address. From there I seem to have eliminated swing thoughts and just swing the club.
I've been to the garage many times today hitting 10-12 shots each time with a more upright or less around my body swing.
My strikes have been more solid, seem to be launching higher and any thin shots are minimal.
The biggest observation is my ball position is less critical.
Before, the bottom of my swing was very inconsistent, especially hitting too often behind the ball and not consistently in the same spot from swing to swing.
Simplicity maybe?
Could I be on to something?
