rsvman2 ok, so the Tensei orange from Ping is the CK like you would get from Dallas golf. It’s the real deal.
Your best bet is to get a shaft with the adapter already on it for that head. Some heads will use the same adapter for a few model years. Ping for instance uses the same adapter for the 410, 425 and 430 heads. If you do this, all you will need is a wrench from Ping to tighten the screw.
If you bought an adapterless shaft a golf store would charge you for an adapter to glue on for you. You would still need to buy a wrench.
Sounds like Someone here has one but don’t know about the adapter.
I was at Golf Galaxy and PGA SS and GG over by the used clubs were selling demo shafts from the fitting carts. All OEMs with the adapters on them for $50-75. I forget what PGA SS was selling theirs for.
