Driver - Loved my Wishon 919THI with the Harrison Mugen Blue Prototype. Of course, I traded it.

3W (Actually a 4w) - Tour Edge Exotics XCG3 16.5. It's as long as a 14 and great off the deck or tee
Irons - Wishon 560mc with FST 115s. Tried to beat them out of the bag with Mizuno JPX800 Pros - but can't
Wedges - Ping Gorge except for my Maltby M 53 bent to 54*.
Putter - Odyssey White Hot Tour #7

Irons - Spalding Elite - S300. Really crappy clubs but went through a purple patch where I did not miss anything.

Bang-O-Matic driver with Titanium shaft was awesome 10 years ago. But then everything worked better for me 10 years ago.

Cobra LV4 driver works great now.

The above clubs seem to do well even when my swing is bottom dwelling.

There aren't many clubs on my list that I have serious regrets about getting rid of, but I'm surprised I don't see more on here about the original Rocketballz fairway woods. You can grab every other club from my bag and walk off with it and I probably won't even turn around, but if you take my 3w I'll hunt you down and do terrible things to you.

    Best club.... this is easy. Odyssey 2-ball blade putter.

    Worst club... Nike square Sasquatch driver. Sounded like kicking an old aluminum trash can with below average performance (for me)

      I had a Zero Tolerance 3-iron hybrid that I loved so much I replaced it with another one when I lost the first one. Sadly, these are no longer in production

      The best putter I've ever used is still in the bag. It's a MacGregor DCT Sanibel. I altered it by putting a backweighting kit in the handle and putting on an oversized grip. It's butter.

      As far as drivers go, I would vote the KZG Gemini2 and to go a little older, the Golfsmith HiCor was a bomber. It still may be the longest driver I ever had. The KZG Q fairways are still crazy good. I'm experimenting with others right now, but the Qs will never leave my possession. A favorite set of irons was the Cleveland TA5s in gunmetal. Loved them. Also in the Cleveland family, an old set of copper wedges, pre-cg-anything, were outstanding. And I'll throw a putter in there. Yes, they can still be found easily and cheaply, but I loved me some original black Zebra mallet, and the Zebra IV mallet that Golfsmith made later on (I still have one of those).

      Driver: My all time fave was the Big Bang 450, although the Cobra King LTD has probably moved ahead
      FWs: Black White Lightening
      Irons: Wishon 550c/m
      Wedges: right now, I hate all wedges ever made
      Putter: Maltby C-Ray
      Ball: the Kirkland Signature is 9 yards longer, spins less with driver, spins more with wedges, and never misses a putt...and after you play it for 72 holes, you can still sell it for $8 each.

      I tbink i have an RBZ 3 wood head someone left behind at the shop. Great head for sure...could be swap shop material.

      Hour and a half drive into NH today got me thinking about drivers i had. I know i said i didnt have a bad one...Bang Storm was a bad one.

      Since 2004..20 different driver heads. What a waste of time and money. Too bad we didnt have todays clubfitting tech around back then.

          Gee, all this hate on the Bang Storms -- I had won an EBay auction for 1-3-5 Bang Storms quite cheap a few years ago, and I was excited to get them. A few days later, seller claimed they were stolen from his garage. I wasn't quite sure I believed him since my winning bid was really low, but moved on. Had he shipped them, I doubt they'd've still been around but I might have been able to make a few bucks off of them.

          Driver: Alpha V2 425cc -- picked one up recently and it's the longest I've hit. Yamaha Inpres X V201 has better dispersion for me, though.
          Fairway: TEE EX-9. The 16.5 4W is great off the deck or tee. I keep trying different 13-14 3W for off the tee and they're mostly the same for me, though I don't think anything is easier than the original Rapture.
          Hybrids: Alpha V5 are longer than anything but I have a TEE XCG-V that's not going anywhere. The Adams Super LS and XTD Ti are long, too but sound awful.
          Irons: Bridgestone Access Hi-Draw VP-02. Ti face, not hook machines despite the name. Ancient irons (2002) that are long and forgiving.

          Wedges: Chicago Wide Sole -- kinda ugly, too much offset, but they work for me. Picked up a 55-60-65 set off EBay for $20 shipped a couple of years ago, the guy raised his price to $20.97 and charges shipping now.
          Putter: I had a Projector II mallet I put together and the single bend shaft turned just a bit while curing, so it's a little cockeyed, but I putted great with that for years. I should dig it out and give it a try again

          Hybrids are closed faced because most golfers slice. I looked far and wide for ones that are square. Best one that I found is the Srixon 745.

            GLFTPS

            Most hybrids were shut faced because of the design and the weight distribution which would leave the face open at impact with normal swing path. The design was to compensate for the imperfect form.
            It took me awhile to get used to using a hybrid, and I never touched it when I bag long irons.

              Driver: White Lightning (close second is Snake Eyes Python XL or Snake Eyes Elasteel)
              Fwy woods: Don't remember the name but they were knockoffs of Yonex 100 (they were all graphite)
              Hybrids: P10G which were knockoffs of Ping G10
              Irons: PLX (at least I think that's what they were called). They came from Pro-Swing Golf and were knockoffs of Lynx Parallax that Fred Couples was gaming at the time. They had a double bend point shaft, also obtained from

              Pro-Swing that just seemed to work for me. Wow, haven't thought of them for many years.
              Wedges: Snake Eyes (the original ones when Golfsmith first bought Snake Eyes)
              Putter: I'm with candukid on this one, TM Daddy Long Legs and still using it.

              Good topic! My best was an Orlimar Trimetal 13 degree. I was consistent with it and it was long and accurate for me. The SMT Babylon worked very well for me and I would have to consider it my best driver (but looking forward to the R15 I just got as I get back into the game of golf) Oh, I will throw in the LogicalOne putter, of course, as well. 🙂

              The worst was the SMT Solitaires...just could not hit them well at all. I also had a Wilson Invex driver I could not do anything with, other than stay out of the fairway.
