Took this one step further recently with my hybrids and driver and went out and found some used ones and put them back in the back.
Driver: KZG Q
3 Wood: Sonartec GS Tour
Hybrids: Sonartec MD
Loving my Sterling irons at the moment as well

Irons: Powerbilt Citation FZ-1 forged
Hybrid: None
Putter: Hammy, Sizemore SB-1
Best:
Driver - Cleveland Comp 460 (sad day when the head cracked)
Fairway - Sonartec SS 2.5
Irons - Cleveland TA7, I played really well with these then I messed with the poon...lesson learned
Wedges - Original Raw Vokeys
Putter - They all suck
Worst clubs:
Driver - Callaway C4, received as a gift and felt like I had to use it so I didn't appear like an ungrateful dick...another lesson learned
Irons - Ping G10s, everything I hit was a moon ball and I had a terrible time judging distances
Im not proud of some of these.....
Best Driver
Oh, TM M2, how do I love thee? Let me count the ways.......its the first driver to beat my beloved R9 Supertri, which itself beat my beloved R7 425 TP, which in turn beat my beloved R510 TP. There's a pattern there......
Best Fairway Wood
Callaway Steelhead (mk 1), all things to all golfers, good off the tee, great off the fairway, great out the semi, yes others have come and gone, the Hawkeye VFT was better off the tee, the 980F was better off the fairway and the Adams Tight Lies was better out the rough, but the original Steely was good at all those shots.
Best Hybrid
TM Rescue Mid TP, still in the bag, unbeatable combination of forgiveness, power and control. Just edges out the Adams Pro Black for me as they aren't quite as good as control off the tee clubs.
Best Irons
Ping Zing 2, best irons ever made, there I said it. Whilst nothing on earth is truly idiot proof due to the ingenuity of idiots, these are just about there. I can honestly say I've never had a bad ball striking round with these, if only their magic extended to the other clubs in the bag on the day!
Best Wedges
Cleveland Reg 588 RTG (1999 editions), narrowly beating the 200 series vokeys simply because they are more robustly built and come in slightly more loft options.
Best Putter
Odyssey 2 Ball DFX, 13 years strong this relationship, its battered and bruised, but unbowed. Its needs a shaft and if im honest, new inserts, but it keeps me around the 30-34 putts per round mark consistently and is the best clutch putt putter I've ever had. Even when I'm not putting well, I putt ok because this lets me away with so many flaws in my stroke.
Notable mentions:
Driver: Tourstage 375Z, incredible feel, but ultimately not the longest driver I've ever used.
FW: TM 300 Tour, good looks, good performance, let down by poor standard shaft options
Hybrids: Adams A12 Proto G, 20 degree was like a 190 yard wedge from almost any lie, could put it within 20 feet from almost anywhere, but not great off a tee for me.
Irons: Mizuno T-Zoid Pro II, I won trophies with them and still have them, not the player I was though, hence the Pings edging it these days.
Wedges: Mizuno MP-R series, looked great, performed great, but wore badly (as all Mizuno products of the era did).
Putter: Yes Tracy II, the only blade putter that dislodged the 2 ball for any length of time.
Driver - Loved my Wishon 919THI with the Harrison Mugen Blue Prototype. Of course, I traded it.
3W (Actually a 4w) - Tour Edge Exotics XCG3 16.5. It's as long as a 14 and great off the deck or tee
Irons - Wishon 560mc with FST 115s. Tried to beat them out of the bag with Mizuno JPX800 Pros - but can't
Wedges - Ping Gorge except for my Maltby M 53 bent to 54*.
Putter - Odyssey White Hot Tour #7
Also rans:
TM 320Ti - that thing hit bullets, but could have been because I was a lot younger and faster
3W - Snake Eyes 600T - should never have traded it
Irons - Spalding Elite - S300. Really crappy clubs but went through a purple patch where I did not miss anything.
Putter - Snake Eyes Tour Platinum 7801 - also traded it. Would love to get one back
Bang-O-Matic driver with Titanium shaft was awesome 10 years ago. But then everything worked better for me 10 years ago.
Cobra LV4 driver works great now.
Callaway Heavenwood hybrids - awesome
The above clubs seem to do well even when my swing is bottom dwelling.
2007 TM Burner driver and fairways. Still relevant.
PING Eye 2 irons.
There aren't many clubs on my list that I have serious regrets about getting rid of, but I'm surprised I don't see more on here about the original Rocketballz fairway woods. You can grab every other club from my bag and walk off with it and I probably won't even turn around, but if you take my 3w I'll hunt you down and do terrible things to you.
Best club.... this is easy. Odyssey 2-ball blade putter.
Worst club... Nike square Sasquatch driver. Sounded like kicking an old aluminum trash can with below average performance (for me)
bangomatic 3-wood was very reliable for me
I had a Zero Tolerance 3-iron hybrid that I loved so much I replaced it with another one when I lost the first one. Sadly, these are no longer in production
The best putter I've ever used is still in the bag. It's a MacGregor DCT Sanibel. I altered it by putting a backweighting kit in the handle and putting on an oversized grip. It's butter.
As far as drivers go, I would vote the KZG Gemini2 and to go a little older, the Golfsmith HiCor was a bomber. It still may be the longest driver I ever had. The KZG Q fairways are still crazy good. I'm experimenting with others right now, but the Qs will never leave my possession. A favorite set of irons was the Cleveland TA5s in gunmetal. Loved them. Also in the Cleveland family, an old set of copper wedges, pre-cg-anything, were outstanding. And I'll throw a putter in there. Yes, they can still be found easily and cheaply, but I loved me some original black Zebra mallet, and the Zebra IV mallet that Golfsmith made later on (I still have one of those).
