That ain’t no wink…she be giving you the one-eyed “I’m fine here…carry on Dad”
LBlack14 it's an intense inflammatory reaction that makes the gums swell up and get red and sore. It makes it so they can't eat because of pain. They think it's an auto inflammatory or autoimmune disease.
Unfortunately, it's fairly common in cats. He has already had to have about five of his teeth removed. He has also had to have a prior infusion of stem cells and several shots of steroids. The only good news is that after he gets the stem cells, it cools off and he should be fine for a while, maybe even as long as 9 or 10 months.
We just have to keep an eye on him. When he doesn't eat well, and doesn't play as much, and when his hair starts to thin, we know he needs more treatment. I wish he didn't have it. We are doing the best we can.
Garage, golf shop, Man Cave cat. That’s Frank, aka KITTY KITTY KITTY! Walked in the garage about 6 years ago, never left. Indoor/outdoor, very sweet. Except to the dogs lol
This is Goose...our daughters wanted a cat for ages and we decided it was time. The local humane society said he is a street rescue but he is really well-mannered so I think he was in another home previously.
Aside from my lap, these were Shithead's 2 other favorite lounging spots. This is this afternoon, at the same time. They're plotting.
My good dog, Nala. There’s another one that lives here too.
Probably should post this here as well

colej their brindle is pretty similar. Near as I can guess, I believe mine is a black mouth Cur or a mix of something with a Cur. Whatever she is, she has the softest coat ever, which is also like a sponge, she gets wet and it’s like it holds onto water, she’s a real pain to give a bath, doesn’t fully dry for hours even after you towel dry her.
Shabouh catching a few zzzz's with one arm sticking out.
