Any player can be waived at any time. They are only out if the player is not picked up and she is on a guaranteed contract. Non-guaranteed, they are good to go whether she is claimed or not. If waived and not claimed, Fever would have to pay her contract, if guaranteed; if not, and not claimed, she is unemployed...no checks.
They can only have 6 guaranteed players, so maybe she is not 1 of them with her 2 year contract. I think that might make a diff.
They will resign Kelsey. They have to wait to see what CC is going to do; she has not signed yet for next year. At that, imo, Kelsey will take a small cut with a longer term. It is the only team she has played for, and it is her home. Worth more than money for some people and I think she is one of those types.
They have a full roster, a lot of teams do not. If they have $$ problems, it is their own fault.
Dantas can go....seemingly worthless.
