Not so sure of that. Paige did not make the 'All-Star' team at FIBA. She also was 3rd scorer on the USA team, behind CC and Plum. CC was MVP of the tourney, even with her poor shooting yesterday.
Paige can play, no doubt, but it all came down to CC feeding her for points a lot of times. The 'old' bitches(and coaches) still will not allow her and CC to have the ball much(check the 'assists' record😉). Had they been playing stronger teams, they would have been whipped with the type of play from those older gals.
And the real haters will be on the team in the Fall, not just the ones that played this tourney....all of them from this week will not be on the team. And they will be facing much stronger teams.
There will be no diff in what we see of treatment of CC this season, from what we've been seeing in the past.
