Looks like it's a tournament play league. Only 6 teams of 11 players that will play 2 week tournaments in various locations. Champion will be named after end of season. 14 week schedule from what I read.
Going to be hard to turn down the money, for a lot of the gals. Keeping in mind that some will be nearing the end of their WNBA shelf life, like Nneka....age 35. Of course they want CC, Angel, & Paige. I will say NO for CC and maybe for Paige, but with Angel...who the hell knows that girl's mind. If she has one.
A lot of big name athletes are already on board as investors/advisers.
If the money is big enough, this will take players out of the WNBA permanently....why play for peanuts with (possibly) millions in pockets? There is no 'glory' in the WNBA. And no money; only injury possibilities.
