Just followed along for the Sky-Mystics game.
2.5 hours in a 40 minute game. Around 50 fouls called, to go along with the 'excessive' amount of timeouts they allow.
This is the type of game, the type of team you see, when they build around just a single player. That player will look good/great, while you lose your asses. Not much has changed in Chicago with the coaching change. The staff seems to have given up and now is going to keep Angel at the forefront for the local fanbase. And of course she loves it, all the while not realizing just how much it is hurting her.
I don't care for her much, due to the way she carries herself/projects herself/ is mouthy in public. But I do feel sorry for her. For her person and her career.
My Dad, who knew nothing about sports, always said to root for the 'local' team, meaning closest to home. The Sky is only 170 away, and Indy is about 300+.
BUT....Des Moines is also only 170 away, and Iowa City is only 60.
I am rooting for the 'home' team. π€£
