Par4QC It’s not available on the regular DirecTV channels. Maybe it would be if I had the sports package. We (my wife) has ESPN +, but just because ESPN made that stupid decision about which game to put on the main channel, I’m not going to bother looking it up.

OTOH, looks like Angel is back to getting 'the feed' tonight. More shots than anyone. Cardoso was relegated to the bench for quite some time. Nothing suspicious in my mind.
Wonder if that has anything to do with the trade rumors🤣?

I have no doubt she is the reason Caitlin was held out again tonight, esp. after what took place(same exact thing as in vid shot) & what Griner said after their last meeting. Should have been suspended for the season, if not totally kicked out.

Par4QC Wanted to watch, but Oakmont is too compelling to switch off. When Caitlin is on, she opens up the floor for everyone. And along with Kelsey Mitchell the pair have enough energy to just about run any other team out of gas by themselves. Add Lexi running with them and it gets even better. Although Sabrina apparently wasn’t too fazed. They were lucky Jones wasn’t playing today too.

Par4QC looks like soccer to me....but then women's soccer does not approach the men's game for the theatrics ....apparently the wnba does. Watching concacaf gold cup off and on the last few days and tonight is El Salvador and Curacao.....when the players act up and don't want to behave there is NOTHING the referees can do. That is soccer in spurts. That was the first half of ES and Curacao tonight. I chose to turn it off = Unwatchable as a result...bad product, I have no rooting interest for either team! It's the same thing in the WNBA. If these bitches don't want to play by the rules no ref is gonna make them. I don't care about CC. She means nothing to me, and so i will turn it off as it relates to soccer the ruling bodies need to intervene IF the club/nation teams won't hold the individual players to account.. I am not quite sure what that equates to for soccer but points, suspensions, rankings, etc. Do something other than to let the referees flounder with athletes that won't fall in line. Hard for people to get behind the fact that it's the PLAYERS and not the referees that are the problem.

Par4QC I actually did watch the game this time. Mabrey should have been ejected from the game and should be suspended for 5 games. If the refs would have ejected Mabrey in the first place Sophie probably wouldn't have been looking for a time to retaliate. Teams have decided that the only way they stop the Fever with Clark handling the ball is to push, shove, body, slap, and do all of the other things you are not supposed to do in basketball to her all the way up the court. She definitely does not get a "special" whistle, but they need to start giving her one to stop this and actually play the game.

Several of the gals are nothing more than thugs. And I'm quite sure that when they really do injure someone, they will not give 1 fuck about it. Esp. if it is their cashcow...CC.

And the refs are the worst of all refs in every sport! I saw 1 game several days ago where they called 52 fouls, the next game had only 28. They have no clue as to how to call 'true' fouls. Just breathe on some of the 'stars' and you get called.....B. Stewart had something like 19 FTs in a game a few days ago. Every loose ball.....she got fouled!!??
And when they see something as blatant as that eye poke tonight, and do nothing more than call it 'a foul', then there is a huge problem. And no mistaking that they did see it happen.

ode Not sure the motivation is there, NBA players make multi-millions $$--a shared motivation not to hurt each other to keep the cash rolling. WNBA do not and sure Refs make equally less. No shared motivation to "grow the game" from my seat. Have to admit, I have not watched a WNBA game yet, do not watch NBA either.

I can see negative side for the jealousy of the money Clark must make off the court.

She should have been ejected for sure. I don't see a suspension though unless she has a history of that stuff which I don't think she does.

I think you need to watch it from the correct angle, in slo-mo. Why would anyone put a hand near the face when the ball is below the waist? It was not just a 'throwing up of hands', or a reach to cause a TO, it was deliberate in all respects.

Sheldon was being made to look a fool the whole game with 3's being pumped in over her head, plus being driven on for layups. She has this 'thing' about CC dating back to when she played at OSU, in the Big 10, against Iowa.
