pondball toraider yup, was a shame when FGI disintegrated. Really enjoyed the NS weekends, and the online banter, the GAS attacks in Buy & Sell! Ahhhh! The good old days 😌

LogicalOne Those were some major fun days back then. FGI was more like ‘home’ versus all of the other forums I felt. Things started going south for me personally in 2006 when I got divorced and then I pretty much hit rock bottom in 2007 and started losing interest in golf (I’m pretty sure @Par4QC ended up with most of my golf stuff lol). It was great when I got that invite email from @jrock years later though. Great to reconnect with so many great people. 😊

Spartan Rickochet I played golf with Robbieca once at Desert Storm. IIRC The foursome included CallMeAL, and I another guy that I think was called NavyChief. Seems like his name was Sam and ended up having some serious health issues.
pondball Spuzz yup..l finally finished all indoor renos, and finally had sense enough to hire someone to do the landscaping ones - that took forever! I’d forgotten all about this forum until my old name was legged here thus week. Fond memories of some good times, online and at NS.
