LogicalOne I remember Tim Hewitt/myOstrich Golf. SUPER smart and nice guy! And wasn’t Tim one of the founders of the International Clubmakers Guild?

I played a round with Tim at Persimmon Ridge in Louisville. Tim was always in a good humor and had a big smile on his face. The Professional Clubmakers Society (PCS) had a headquarters building on the course near the pro shop. Tim was there for an annual PCS meeting and invited me, CoachSB and RangerX for a round at Persimmon which is a very unusual course. Almost every green has a huge hump in the ground. Rumor was that there was an elephant buried in every green. 🤣

I don't know when Steve joined FGI but when it closed he was one of the busiest posters. The top posters were up around 20k posts. I think I was in the top 5 and Steve quickly had 10k posts under his belt. 😜

I always used to buy the Bramptons 10/10 epoxy that Tim sold at MyOstrich. I recall some controversy about Bramptons. There must have been a bad batch because some FGIers reported failures and declared it the worst epoxy on the face of the earth, while many of us had no issues.

That would be me. Tim got two misformulated batches from Bramptons. One you could pull heads with your bare hand. Another cured rubbery with the smell and consistancy of a pencil eraser.

I always liked it. I never had a problem and found it online after that and ordered it several times. I think maybe
it was more particular in getting the mix correct. A little too much of one part or the other kind of threw everything
"out of whack."

I did have some iron heads start to twist. For a while I was blaming the grips twisting. Fortunately didn't have any flying heads.
TIm was great. I recently dug out my old iGolf gps that he sold.

I got the bare hand batch once, from cliff barron at custom club shop.Ditched it for good.
Used Golfsmith glue for a long time until they left town.Went to Golfworks glue after that and nothing else.No issues and it's hard to mess up the mixing as well.

This time he got 21 yrs., min. 14.
It was his own daughter!! 🤬

Par4QC looks like 12/2002 was first offense and probation .... I see offenses in 2015 and then conviction in 10/2022.....quite possible the cases have been pending for years or the offenses were not reported right away.....or a combo of both. By my calculations he could get out in his early 60s.

Par4QC I was going to ask if he was convicted. I looked it up but didn't find d anything. Should have gotten life.

SMT It doesn’t appear to do him much good in this life and it certainly won’t in the next if he’s as guilty as it seems.
