DonM, good one, but fortunately these watches all utilize the Miyota quartz engine, which is made in Japan, where they are very much attuned to being on time.
So yes, the watch is very accurate. I have another model and it is within about 7-9 seconds per month.
If you wear this watch when you are in Italy, you will be able to tell exactly how off schedule your train was and how late your friends came to dinner. 😁
