LogicalOne gear....
DC300 the 3 piece are nice. While the cover doesn't last long with really good wedge strikes. They do fly nice, feel good when hit, even when not struck perfectly. The 5 piece are fantastic with spin and grab, I've had better stopping with the 5 piece. That said, off center strikes had a clank sound and a harsh feel. When struck in the sweet spot, they feel fantastic, and fly beautifully.
Slightly off center strikes with the 3 piece feel, and sound better than the 5 piece.
I like all 3 types, personally, right now, the 3 piece is my go to. I can afford to lose those, due to the price.
ode that’s still up there. I top out around 120mph these days, consistently in the high teens. I find myself gravitating towards higher compression balls. I really like the ProVX, the ProV is good, but actually spins (sideways too) more than I like off the driver. I keep trying to like lower compression, it’s just not my thing. The difference in flight and thereby distance is significant, my tee shots either look like a nice iron shot into a green or they get a nice boring flight, obviously the boring flight gets a lot more distance. I’m too cheap to always play a premium ball, so I get myself into the lower compression stuff sometimes, it’s really silly. I’m tapping into my stash of Vice Pro Plus for the next few rounds, I know they fly pretty well and are reasonably priced, so I expect those to take and hold the top spot for the year. I keep hoping to have a golf ball fairy drop some Left Dash balls appear for me to try, but thus far, no luck.

DC300 the only time I go with a lower compression is spring/fall golf, otherwise it's the standard stuff, as I also find LC balls short and perform for shite. If you find an AVX it might work as it's supposed to mitigate spin. I don't think it's low compression but based on your likes/dislikes it might feel soft/er for you.
LogicalOne that’s about the reaction of all those “I can hit the ball 300 yards, just can’t control it.” Guys when they see an actual 300 yard shot lol.
There was a time when I could get to the mid 130s with a 48” driver, that was fun. The problem now is altering my expectations of what’s possible as I look at shots, otherwise my score matches my swing speed.
DC300 Taking nothing away from Kelly's products as I've used those balls myself and they perform well for this slow swinger. But, if you can't get along with them, you just can't.
That said, this is the ball that Jake has turned to and won't play any other.

The L1.XCW 54 and 58 are officially in the bag. Love em. Don't need to test anymore!
Sorry CBX2's...
VigilanteTrail The wedges are nice!
I'll be testing the 3wd. w/Prodigi shaft on Sunday. The 5wd., driver, and putter have already been 'approved'. The irons may need a shaft makeover to the heavier/stiffer.
