They have HOAs here, I'm sure.
But why in the world would anyone ever buy where someone else can tell you what you can/cannot do with your own property? AND.....pay (sometimes) a lot of extra money monthly to let them do that??
jmo, but when you do something like that, you give up your rights to complain about much of what is happening in the world. ex.-price of gas goes up.....wtf are you complaining about?
Sorry, just do not see sound reasoning to be paying extra to have a few people tell you what you can/cannot do with your own home/property. There's already laws/ordinances that do such, that your property taxes pay for.
And if my grass is too high, according to me, I will mow when I damn well please.....not wait on someone to come around and do it once a week. No one has come over, yet, and said wth....you just mowed 2 days ago,,,,, and btw Rex, you need to bag those leaves instead of just mowing over them.
