If accurate, Cignetti pulled a smart outside-the-box move of focusing on getting good experience at each position in the portal instead of competing for the 4/5-star players. Kid from my hometown and high school was a 3 star recruit for JMU and Cignetti wanted him to continue with him. He transferred before the beginning of his freshman year and is now a sophomore. Playing D-line at 6' 4' and 275. Tough kid who comes from a great family.
