The real winners are the athletes and notice I did not say student/athletes. Many times the top players don't even see the inside of a lecture hall they do all studies, classroom on-line.

There is no loyalty in college sports it's year to year portal to portal revolving door for the bucks! The most important man on campus now is the financial managers that identify and recruit thru the portal and mange the NIL $$$$.
This is not about recruiting now it;s about getting the best players money can buy. You will see this type of thing IU pulled off often now. Just how schedules, injuries, game management fall thru the season to see if you spent the right amount of money to get the right players in the correct situations. It's ALL about the money.
