ode Since it takes four rounds anyway, should have been 16 trgeams instead of 12. No byes. Straight 1-16 rankings. One plays 16, 2 plays 15, etc.
Didn't happen because... idk, maybe because it makes too much sense? 🤷‍♂️

professor yes, those were my predictions.....noted later in follow up post/s👇

ode Well I was close. Clemson 12. Who's gonna be 11🤔

    ode WOW....SMU.

    The bracket 👇

rsvman2 16 would work too, but for now I like the idea of the top 4 getting a week off and a bye, but 🤔

ode As silly as it it to say, Penn State's back-to-back games against SMU and Boise St. looks a lot more appealing than Oregon's one game against TN/Ohio St. With Georgia being crippled up, I like Penn State's or Notre Dame's chances of getting to the final game and be healthy more than I do Oregon, Texas, TN, or Ohio St. With this seeding I think it's anyone's game and will randomly be rooting for an Arizona St. vs IU final.

johnnydoom yes, if Penn St. play up to their ability they have a decent shot! Texas sort of in the same boat although I would not underestimate Clemson they are the weakest in the field followed by Arizona St, although they looked good in the B12 championship. Going to interesting to see it all shake out!

Yes, they have some great players and coaching. Made some mistakes the last game that is not typical with them. 2 good quarterbacks that alternate for different situations. Good backs and of course Tyler Warren who moves all over confusing the defense. He is supposedly being considered for the Heisman.

You may be right. PSU plays mostly a “power” game - not to say they can’t pass. But I think they are more plodding, on both the offensive and defensive lines will eventually win the battle of the trenches. If they play a “speed team” that also has Beef, then they are at risk.

Just don't see PSU beating Tx, GA or Oregon. For the record, I'm a ND fan and if they past the Hoosiers, do not see them beating GA.
Tx, GA and Oregon are the most complete teams (esp speed) even tho GA may have a QB issue.

            propman ND fan

Lol, what happened to you when you were young🤔.......😳......🙃

I'm blessed being first gen Irish from Chgo Southside and watching full game highlights on Sunday bf going to church at 11yrs old.
In other words, brainwashed like all other fanatics.

Love Touchdown Jesus vs God must love Penn State because he made the sky blue and white.

              propman I'm a ND fan

When I was a child I was a Notre Dame fan only because I am half-Irish. Granny was a Ferguson and Mom was a McKee! Haven't cared about them as an adult as I usually root for what is closest to me. That usually is the University of Memphis, but lately due to a son attending and a daughter about to, it's SEC bottom feeder Mississippi State University. But in playoff time I'll latch onto anything SEC even though I don't like either of the orange T's. Don't really like the SEC's chances this year.

Still love the Leprechaun logo though.

johnnydoom even tho, I'm an ND fan, I try not to be obnoxious about it ( like other fans I know regardless of team).
While not anywhere near perfect, I appreciate schools that make a honest attempt at upholding academics, ie Duke, Northwestern, Stanford etc...
But overall, college football is my fav sport to watch, followed by NFL and distant 3rd golf.

johnnydoom I didn't when they first announced it, but that was because I wasn't forward thinking enough to envision the equalizing properties of the NIL policy.

Same. The 12 team playoff has suddenly become more appealing to me with more parity in college football.

I'd question that. Only because I don't know - so just questioning. Duke Hoops and academics? Struggling with that.
