darpar was going to ask if the cops used pepper spray as there were two Michigan players with helmets off clearly having trouble with their eyes, but did not want to start any social media nonsense, but now the ESPN ticker is saying they did. Whoa. Hopefully no one was injured due the fight and resulting melee. Thankfully the players that were fighting did not turn on the police, after pepper spray was used. That would have went from ugly to something altogether different!

      They definitely sprayed people with pepper spray. Could be a bunch of players/coaches from both sides but initially I’ve only seen reports of Xichigan players sprayed.

          colej that's what it appeared based on that TV footage (the national broadcast)....but that was based on them clearly having eye troubles with helmets off, no way to see the cops actually spraying. glad no cops got assaulted, as it was getting intense.

                  colej I don't doubt the cops had good intentions. These dipshit players need to control themselves. No amount of good coaching can stop the athletes from acting that way. And during the melee raging there was still another Michigan player circling on the fringe with the flag and big Ohio St. OL ripped it out of his hands and tore it apart. Surprised he did squash the player like a bug. The camera then showed Day as he looked on bewildered and it looked like mouthed "what happened".

                                    I agree based on quality of opponents. The media is in love with Cam Ward though, so I don’t know. I think the only team in the SEC that could make it in with 3 losses might be Georgia if they lose the conference championship game. Alabama had some high quality wins in a tough schedule, but I still don’t think they make it. I don’t know what to make of Oregon, but I think whoever the other 11 are, they are all capable of beating each other.
