I think Penix could be a similar NFL QB to Goff or Tua. A good passer when well protected but not so much when pressured. But, his injury history obviously makes him a bigger risk to any team that drafts him.
College football
Par4QC round 1.
He reminds reminds me of Tua a little. Maybe it's because they are both lefties.....but when he's on he is on.....I just don't think he will last..... breathe on him and he gets hurt. In the right spot though, he could be really good. I mean look at Brock Purdy. He was in the running for MVP until Baltimore. I know it's an oxymoron, but give em some weapons and a decent line. He could be the best pure passer of the top QBs coming out.

DonM Brady was a winning powerball ticket. It really says nothing about planning for success. The same team drafted Drew Bledsoe first overall, and he turned out to be pretty ordinary.
Again, that’s the whole point. I thought I typed in English. lol. You never know. Like someone said it’s a crap shoot. Bledsoe went to a Super Bowl. A little better than ordinary. But I digress.
One more time. It’s all speculation. No one knows who will make it and who won’t. Except for Par4QC. Lol
Look at Johnny Manziel. He was a natural born screwball and showed everyone who he was. Sometimes believe someone who shows you who they are. But then again it was the Browns who were fooled.
Just goes to show there are some teams that whiff more than others. Some a lot more.

garyt1957 was thinking does he ever say anything football related that doesn't involve Brady
Here ya go. Gotta read carefully. Lol. Although true greatness can’t be overstated.
“The consensus is he will go number 1. They can’t all be idiots can they? lol. Williams checks ALL the boxes. Still no guarantee as we know.”

DonM Believe it or not, I know I sound abrasive, even though I try not to. So don’t take it personal, just remember I’m online-impaired
You’re fine. Everyone has their style. I’m snarky. What’s more fun than debating sports. I love the sports debate shows. Watch FS1 all the time. It’d be boring if everyone agreed with their take.
You think my Brady talk is too much. Should’ve been around a few years ago with the Deflatgate nonsense. Great fun.
McCarthy…. It’s funny, seems nobody thinks anything of him. He’ll be the one to be the next Brady. Williams will be Manziel, Maye will be Fields …
I think McCarthy has a chance to be a decent QB. I'm thinking in the realm of Phil Simms.
Yahoo sports said Nick Saban retired.

It's going to fun now.
johnnydoom Nick Saban retired.
I'm surprised he waited this long!
72 years old and 7 National Championships, what's left to prove?
Definitely the GOAT of college football.
Who's Bama gonna hire?

I’ll be wrong, but the same as my Texas A&M vote was - Urban Meyer.
