How in the world is JMU ranked🤔. Played nobody, beat nobody, and get ranked, lol, something is wrong with that. Ok they did play Louisville.......and LOST. Would that mean I would put Duke ahead of them🤔.....they certainly should get some consideration.....don't care if they have 5 losses. Put JMU in a power 4 conf and they aren't ever sniffing the top 25 and the committee also putting North Texas in the top 25 .... both criminal IMO.
On to the ND/Bama/.Miami debate. Bama with a clearly better resume, but will the sound defeat by UGa bump them? The pundits beating the drum of the head to head is getting old. It's a factor but it's not more important then the overall resume. Miami lost to Louisville and SMU not ranked. ND lost to A and M and Miami BOTH ranked, one in the playoff and the other arguably in the playoffs. I don't get the overwhelming pundit support for Miami. Head to head is not more important then the bigger picture....and I can't stand ND. Also the time to move them ahead of ND was last week not this week when they were both idle.
It is gonna be interesting to see who gets the last two at large spots and does JMU get the last of the 5 highest ranked conf championship game winner🤔
