Very sad especially since his quality of life was not good for a while and worse is Agent Orange was a factor.
A neighbor was blanketed by Agent Orange 3 times. He was told by the military he was only doused once. After his death his widow was told it was actually 3 times. It destroyed his organs and did not make it to age 50. Before Agent Orange, there was Agent Pink and Agent Purple, used earlier in the war. Both were more potent than Agent Orange.
I spoke with Almo several times on the phone. A very nice guy and obviously loved the port and the industry.
