    azgreg Same tour but in Nuremberg. It was just recently I found out that was the last VanHalen with David Lee Roth.

      Saw David Crosby and Graham Nash playing together at the Cape Cod Colosseum in 1972. Not as good as with Stills and Young.

      Beach Boys at the CC Colosseum in 1974 and at the Boston Garden in 1976. Both great concerts. No Brian Wilson though.

      Dan Fogelberg at Great Woods in 1987. Loved Fogelberg, but he was doing a lot of electric guitar at that time.

      Saw The Shirelles at Your Fathers Moustache in 1974. YFM was a bar in Dennis on the Cape. Sat up front just a few feet away. They were great.

      Saw Roger McGuinn (The Birds) at a small bar on the Cape as well in 1988. He played his 12 string acoustic guitar. Fantastic.

        Worst concert: I saw Meatloaf at Pufferbellies in late 80's early 90's? Horrible sound setup, drunk audience, and impaired singer? Not a good combo.

        Favorite concert: I saw Smokey Robinson at the CC Melody Tent in Falmouth mid 1980's. I was only about 20 feet away, dead center, and he genuinely seemed to be having a blast. What put it over-the-top, was a couple between myself and Smokey who could both really sing and harmonize, who knew all the backup vocals. Even some choreographed moves. Everyone around me were looking at each other to see if we all heard them too.

            Saw the musical HAIR at the Melody Tent in Hyannis in 1972. Meatloaf was in the cast of HAIR back then. He wasn’t famous then so no idea if he was in the cast we saw.

            The most unique act we saw there wasn’t famous. The first band on was a 50’s greaser band all slicked back etc.. After a break the next band was a current 70’s band with long hair etc.. It took a little while to realize that they were the same band.😯

                  My last concert was Jimmy Buffett at Wrigley Field in 2018. I've seen him 19 or 20 times. As a lifelong Cubs fan, I was thrilled to be on the field for my first time.

                  sdandrea1 wish I would have seen Moore. For me, he was pretty much under the radar til a few years before his death. Has some great stuff on YouTube.
                  Saw Joe Bonamassa a few yrs back, enjoyed it very much.

                    One of the best concerts I attended was one with Dr. Hook, Sugarloaf and Rare Earth. It was fun from start to finish.
                    Dr. Hook led off and then came out and sat with the crowd for the rest of the concert. Another good one was Black Oak Arkansas and Mountain. Black Oak Arkansas just blew everyone away and Mountain had to really work to get the crowd
                    with them after Black Oak was done. It took a couple songs but they finally did it. My favorite oldies concert was Dion and then the Beach Boys. I love Dion's stuff. The last concert I attended was a country concert. Marin Morris led it off. She was just getting started and didn't even have a record yet. The headliner was Little Big Town. It was a fun time.

                                Me too. I saw them in Sioux Falls, SD. The other band that started the show was called "Texas." I remember that I was impressed with them that night but never heard of them again.

                                  Yeah, Felix Pappalardi was very talented as well. Tragically he was shot and killed in 1983 by his wife who was also in the music business.
