Or maybe another question…is the TS1-IM hosel actually shorter? Don’t quote me on this but I think I read that the TS1-IM bottom of bore to ground is 3/4” vs. the normal 1 to 1 1/4”…think it was in the questions section on the GW site where I read that…would that maybe contribute to the overall hosel length being designed a bit shorter? I have no clue because I am not a pro like some of you guys are…😂

VigilanteTrail 🤔Never thought about that. The Takamo looks a lot longer than the Maltby, noticeably so in that vid. Thought maybe they were 'old school' hosels, for some reason.

Then again, overall head weights of those 2 could be different and the weight IS where it should be. Performance didn't take a loss.

Gonna have to buy both in order to find out. 🤣

Not sure of the exact #'s, but yes the many of the newer Maltby irons have a BBGM that is probably close to 1/2" less than many other irons. You need to be a bit careful shafting them as the shaft may feel like it's been hard stepped once.

Why doesn't Maltby publish the BBGM measurements of their iron heads?

propman lol, no idea. Shafting depth about the most useless measurement there is IMO. And the idjots on WRX keep conflating the two! And while they are at it, how about they publish specs in mm's instead of inches so I don't have Google mm to inches and do the calculation🙃

propman check WRX🙃....pretty sure .750 for the TS3.....not sure on the Max but.incan check tomorrow.....I think I have a 5 and 6 unshafted🤔

ode 3/4" on the ts3 and 7/8" on the Max....best source is the question section on product page and then WRX😉🙃

propman yes, should be 1/8" but there are tolerances,etc that could lead to it being slightly less or more....but yes👇

When the new catalog came out and the TE's were no longer in it I new the end was coming. I've been waiting for the TE's to get on the "Deals" tab on their website. Instead they are just gone. Nowhere to be seen. I was hoping to get a set or two. Oh well.
