ode thank you for this. So switching a shaft from Max to ts3 will result in a club which is less than a 1/4 inch shorter. Correct?

propman yes, should be 1/8" but there are tolerances,etc that could lead to it being slightly less or more....but yes👇

When the new catalog came out and the TE's were no longer in it I new the end was coming. I've been waiting for the TE's to get on the "Deals" tab on their website. Instead they are just gone. Nowhere to be seen. I was hoping to get a set or two. Oh well.

Either it went away fast or they are putting it together for their deals page. Sometimes stuff shows up latter in some form of package deal.

If anyone is wanting a TS1-IM ... I have an 8i head bent 2* flat hit.on course a few times, so excellent .....I would let .go reasonably cheap....remember this head is $59.99 new before shipping 🙃

"We are fazing out the TE Forged. We do still have some, but are out of the GW. We do have a fill in order of some heads coming to balance out the inventory and when they arrive we will sell the remaining in sets only. Will be able available on the website again at that time, while the sets last. The fill in order for the heads we need is expected to ship in October, so you may want to check starting in mid to late October for the availability. There won’t be many, maybe 40-45 sets and when they are gone, they are gone. Been a great model for us for a lot of years, but needed to update with the TE+, which is a great model as well with modern lofts and an updated profile.

sdandrea1 $. $30 per head vs. $48-$60 per head. No new forged head will be $30 per.....that is cast price now. I wish they would have done the TE with a blunted leading edge over the TE+ which looks fine but I still prefer the look of the TE more!

I suppose it's like anything else. Gotta keep "improving" the product to keep up with the other guys. The notion that irons need stronger lofts still makes no sense to this geezer.

But they need to be careful. All that costs $$. As it is now, their heads are getting up in comp with all OEMs, when you add shafts, grips, etc..

I bought a brand new, completely built, set of TM SIM Max irons for under 500, shipped. 5-GW.
7 heads...only.... at GW runs 420+ ship.

It's because of the age-old question, "what club did you use?" The correct response is to provide the loft not the number on the clubhead.

ode I was thinking that as well. My first set of Wilson blades had been modified that way in the longer irons.
