ode KCee I think it does for sound. It's interesting as the t1 is carbon steel and the IM are a maraging steel....both forged....and it sounds pretty universal that most who have played both prefer the IM. The one that I've played is the PXG gen3XP and TS2 and both feel good, I'd give the edge to the PXG .....both limited sample size but enough to know! Hit em good boys!
KCee ode The one that I've played is the PXG gen3CP and TS2 and both feel good, I'd give the edge to the PXG I didn't care for the feel of the TS2 either; both the TS1 and TS2 feel pretty much the same to me. Again not bad at all, but I already had my P770 irons and they felt so much better. I think even the KE4 Max irons feel better than the TS1 and TS2, but the TS3 and TS1-IM trump everything. I've had others try them all though and the opinions differ wildly so it's all personal preference of feel/sound.
Eguller KCee the TS1 and TS2, but the TS3 and TS1-IM trump everything The TS3 feels just about as good as any forged iron and the TE+ is in the same league on center strikes. Like PappaD, I need to hit the TS1-IM. š„“
Nat KCee I just got a TS1 IM to demo. Agree, it is the best feeling iron I've hit. Superior to the TS2 in feel, similar in other areas of performance. As I really like the TS2, as of now I don't think i'll change. The KE4 Max was a great feeling head, just way too big for my eye
fatshot We're gonna be in the Columbus area Monday.....I plan on making a "pilgrimage" to The Golfworks in Newark to compare (and hopefully hit) the TS3 and TE+. Looking forward to it !!!!!
propman fatshot love to hear your feedback on the GW's facility esp as it relates to hitting their equip and getting fitted. Wondering if it would be worth it to take a ride there for an overnighter from here in Chicagoland.
bigshank Now I just have to wait a bit until all the smoke settles. I want those TE+ black. I donāt want the wife blowing a gasket. Anyone know if you can order just the heads bent upright? Iād love to pull the shafts from my pxgs to install in them
fatshot bigshank Anyone know if you can order just the heads bent upright? Yes....I think they charge $5 extra per clubhead to adjust loft / lie, but they will do it.
bigshank First round today with the maltby TSI-IMs. I love em! It was cold first off. Conditions not great. These feel incredibly soft to me. Lofts vs Pxg 0211 apples to oranges. They are weaker lofts and my distance showed that. At least a club shorter. I shot 43-44. Not the irons fault by any means. So far very happy. Only a couple real dicked shots. They are surprisingly forgiving for a players blade appearance. These are a steal at this price and Iām not looking back. By the way teed off about 35 degrees and finished at around 43 degrees. That might have a little to do with some yardage loss too. I hit several sweet ones that barely felt like I hit a ball. Love that
pellmell bigshank Let us know how they endure bag chatter. Golfworks now uses softer1025 steel exclusively for their forgings, instead of 8620 and 1035 in previous irons. I purchased the TE+ V4 black DBM primarily for its nick resistance.
Eguller pellmell I purchased the TE+ V4 black DBM primarily for its nick resistance. If you like a classic look at address, the TE+ Black is just right - due to the dark head, the top line looks very thin and the head more compact than it really is. Pured shots are š Much less harsh than the older DBM. eguller approved.
Nat I was able to get a TS1-im 7 Iron to try Weāll, it is everything you guys have said, super soft, Fairway, mid-high launching, expected distance. It is not enough better than my TS2 to make me want to change, but it is a super Iron
VigilanteTrail Uploaded to da Tube 2 days agoā¦dunno if this has been shared anywhere on GB yet⦠Considering all the Buzzer love I am thinking I might need to order up a single TS1-IM head to demo since I have a lonely new uncut FST 90 sitting hereā¦or find a graphite shaft to try with it⦠[
colej VigilanteTrail Too bad you didnāt hit me up for a graphite iron shaft. I couldāve sent you one two days ago.
Par4QC VigilanteTrail Wondering why Takamo uses such a long hosel on their irons? That weight could be/should be lower where it would really help. jmo unprofessional opinion.
