sdandrea1 All my drivers go the same distance. Yes. I don't make higher swing speeds.

You must hit consistently on the center of the face. My Ping G driver makes a louder sound and loses some distance if I strike it too far left or right of center. Funny thing is my playing partners sometimes think I "really killed it" because it was louder.

Walterjn Ping is known for being forgiving before distance. Most people I think would be better off with a Ping driver than anything else.

Could depend what type ball you use. A softer ball doesn’t sound as loud for me anyway. At least not with my Srixon Soft Feels.

The loudest evah was the Cobras from several years back. Sounded like an aluminum baseball bat. Sound and looks never bothered me. I’ve always been the ends justify the means type golfer.

Sound or looks doesn’t bother me. Performance is all that matters. I had one of those Cobras and it performed great. Loud, but great.lol

My buddy bought the 10K with Alta CB 55R. I hit it on one hole today and it was a great drive. I think the shaft fits me well, and now I want one.

DonM You May want to hit more than one shot before you make a decision but if I were looking to buy a driver that one would be my choice. G400max forgiveness and more distance than the G400 max.

I bought one about 3 months ago and absolutely love it. Wasn’t in love with it at first but hit it decent enough. Got a Smoke RDX black for it and it’s been great.

I had a few gift cards from credit card rewards plus a DSG gift card to help ease the pain at checkout 😊

I am still happy with my Mizuno STx with the Kaili blue shaft. At least two hundred bucks cheaper than the other top drivers and extremely forgiving.

Typhoon Where? My buddy bought his for $365 at PGASS. He figured they mis-identified it as the non 10K version.
