Stu1961 It's more than a little sad, given how much making the team means to so many of these guys, for the last roster spots to be filled in by "buddies" rather than the best golfers available.
I guess I grew up 'old school'...take nothing unless earned. Want/need money...get a job/earn it somehow. And never beg for anything, even your life.
It galls me to see JT & JS be on this team. JT knows he has been playing like total shit and JS like a Jekyll/Hyde , the entire season. Actually RW & Burns have been hit/miss also. For some of them to not stand aside/step up and say....'I didn't earn this and will not accept this' just made them lose any respect I may have ever had for either of them. And they (except Burns) were very low on my 'respect ' list to begin with.
I do not want to see the team win a single point. jmo, because Ima ass.😄
I sure as hell hope this mentality does not cross over to the LPGA Solheim Cup capt'ns picks. Lexi needs to be back at The Academy. Learning how to play golf.
