sdandrea1 Pretty sure we all know this, Scott. I think these recommendations are based on "here's some examples of clubs that are targeted at seniors. Might work for you, might not". I think the OP is just looking for ideas. We all could have said, "go find a good club fitter" but that's not what he asked for.

I am a "self fitter" and I know by trial and error what works for me and what doesn't. I don't try to fit others. It is possible a "proper fitter" might improve my club selection but I have never tried that. I also like to buy shit on the flea market and tinker. And I know because of my swing inconsistencies what works today might not tomorrow. Then you throw in aging and poon factor and it gets more complicated. I have pulled a shaft in a driver I hit well but wanted to try another shaft for a few yards more. That didn't work so I installed the old shaft back it at the same spine orientation and I didn't hit it as well as before. It can be a cruel game. 😜

VigilanteTrail Buy/sell/trade for the monthly/quarterly/season Holy Grail…rinse & repeat…in all honesty it has always been part of the fun factor for me 😂

    "HOLIDAY INN EXPRESS" fitting......🤣

BTW...to add start using video and you can see/understand tempo, transition time and release (early-mid-late). Video and see what's going on is the key (down the line and side) plus a good interpreter. It's more a technique issue than an equipment issue to match up equipment to technique. Leave the marketing at the door. 😃

Typhoon Steve, have you ever had any luck with a Ping Rhapsody driver?

My bride has been bombing the shiz out of that thing lately! It is one of those special one off clubs…just sayin’

Take a few swings with it. You'll thank me later. 👍
