It's amazing the scores you can make with a lot of OB in play. My course has a lot of OB including internal OB. For a regular round it's not as big a deal because you can pick up at your max and you can always drop for the 2 stroke penalty. For tournaments you cannot drop and must re-tee and some require you to hole out.
There are always some crazy high scores on some of our harder holes. Once I made an 11 on our #14 hole (OB left & right the whole way and it's close to the green) and finished to find someone had made a 14 along with a 12 on #2 π― The really sucky part is it just slows up the round as so many players are hitting provisionals because you can't always tell if your ball went OB.
