Ynotgolf I only used it once for irons, but it was cheaper than anything else. I've been using it for shipping almost everything lately.

I shipped 7 irons from PA to WI for $11.86 a couple weeks ago with Pirate Ship (UPS was the carrier)

OK guys.....I'm not signed up on Pirateship, and really don't want to, unless I know for sure that I can save money beforehand. But would like to compare a price, if someone would run it through.

46x8x5 box, 8#. From 61244 to 28269. Cost??

    Par4QC 46x8x5 box, 8#. From 61244 to 28269. Cost??

$14.63 UPS Ground (via Pirate Ship)

From me to that zip (I'm not changing my settings for you, but I'm farther than you are, so of course your rate would be cheaper)

      Par4QC Try 11x7x5, 2#. From 61244 to 95991

$10.21 USPS parcel select or $10.77 UPS Ground

Usually I find Paypal and PirateShip to be about the same. Usually. Direct though USPS/UPS/FedEx is not usually as close.

But anytime they don't match, it is because Paypal is higher. So, I use PirateShip unless I have a reason not to.

Sparky Usually I find Paypal and PirateShip to be about the same

From the prices Jelopster has posted for me, PirateShip shows lower than what I've been paying with Shipstation/PP. Not so much that I find I need to change things though. Only with heavier items perhaps. Which I'll be doing in a week or so. πŸ˜‰

Jelopster Thank you, much appreciated!! πŸ‘
Not a lot of diff there on the light/small boxes. Heavier/bigger is a different story though.

Every time I've ever checked pirateship is exact same as shipstation. I use pirateship to get a quote as it's easier to access for that reason vs. Having to sign into PP and navigate the site.

ode How do you get into PirateShip? When I checked this morning, they wanted a sign up for an account. So if you have an account, it is always open to the internet world? How do you pay for the shipping with them?

              Inquiring minds and all that.

I like that you can link EBay to Pirate Ship. If you sell an item you can just import the address.

sdandrea1 I use a credit card and am happy since I disputed a charge via UPS and the credit card was first to fix, UPS & PirateShip eventually came around to my view.

Par4QC no account, have never used them....but on there main page you can get a free quote by entering zip, box dimensions and weight! Helps me with price.and to make sure I'm not over dim weight. I'll keep using PP/shipstation as it's how I get paid and easy to access the system right from the payment. The times where I'm not or doing a trade you can still use it to print a label as long as you have sufficient funds to cover the labelπŸ™ƒ. It is a bit tedious to poke around the site to find shipstation in the latter scenario!

pirateship will import your paypal orders (or any other major platform orders) and you can pay the funds with your paypal balance.

this stuff isn't rocket science. it's 2023. Every major ecommerce platform and the affiliated 3rd party service tools are at least mostly integrated if not completely integrated. It isn't 2003. You don't need to run your own website , know java or php, or write hack bandaids to put content into iframes to make things work.

On my original post I thought there would be a simple response. Now I've been wrong 2 times in my life.

Yes, for 50 1/2 years. To the nicest woman you could ever know. When she retired from our local Chevrolet dealership they no longer had a human being employed there.
