I used them last week with no issues.......weird.

LBlack14 Anybody having issues with this site. It's been sketchy as hell for me the past few days. Sold a driver, 3lb @ 48x7x7. No option to add extra insurance, that I can see and I've got 3 different prices in 3 different tries, within minutes of each other and if I go through PayPal, it's even more.

WTF IS GOING ON???

Maybe the guy that owns the site wears Crocs…

LBlack14 no idea......? Is it a driver with adapter where you could remove shaft for shipping and reduce the length of box? That's my only input on this. I only use pirate ship to get an idea of a rate quote, that's it, otherwise I use PP ship station for everything

ode already done, it's 44". Only box I have to fit shaft and head is 48". My thing is the site's jumping around, info I typed in disappears and even getting some error message. Also, I've typed the information in three times and got three different prices. Like I said all within a few minutes of each other. Ship stations the highest priced with all services.

Got 'er done, UPS. Original price + $200 insurance from Me to Burgess Va. was $19.84. I reckon it could be worse.

LBlack14 for me SS and PS are always the same price for the same service, but SS does not offer everything PS does......there is some UPS service , forget what it's called but the equivalent of USPS ground (NOT surepost or smart post) that is only on PS....I think it's called ground saverπŸ€”....small boxes cheaper, long boxes not.

Explain this....this was less than a 3lb package and I entered it as a 3lb package. Charged me for a 3lb package, $9.57. Dropped it off at the UPS store, they scan the label and hand me the receipt. I get home and notice the weight is fudged. They didn't put it on a scale before scanned either. This is the sketchy shit that's been going on with Pirateship for me, the past week. Better pay more attention, don't wanna get bent over.

LBlack14 The scan reflects the weight during the moment of the scan. Most of mine are less than I submit but have seen a couple of higher ones because more than my item was on the scale. They only charge more if during the shipping process the scanners why something different. Once I didn't square the end of the package well and it was caught. BTW, PTW refunded back the additional fee they were charged by UPS.

Bravopilot they never put it on a scale. Scanned it as I laid/held it on the counter then back to the pile.πŸ€¨πŸ€”

LBlack14 I'm sorry to be sitting here laughing at others' problems with shipping services. I must live in the best shipping service area of the U.S.. USPS included.😲

The UPS scale should be right beside the scanner/modem/register/whatever you call them, on the counter. YOU put it on there as you approach the counter. Same with FedEx. (and they never measure anything)
And the scale I use at home, from 15+ years ago, is always within .1oz. of theirs. IOW, exactly the same.

              Par4QC Wrong again Blanch! 😁
I never lay a prepaid package on a scale, EVER.
They explained to me that that weight (23lb 15.8oz) was the last package that was on the scale before my scan and that's why the weight came up on my scan. The two packages I took today both say 0 lbs as the previous weights were cleared, before I got there. They don't weigh or measure anything, in the store, that gets done when it's on the conveyor. If there are any discrepancies it's figured out and settled in your account. I've even gotten credits through PS & SS for declaring too much weight.

Glad you got a kick out of it though. 😊

LBlack14 I'm laughing at the way things are run in other parts of the country, esp. in your part, with these shipping companies.
Prepaid or not, it should go on the scale as it's scanned!! Except the P.O. NEVER weighs a prepaid.
My UPS & FedEx.....YOU put it on the scale. If you don't, they will. Can't get receipt without the process, prepaid or cash sale.

Like I said, I must have the best shipping services evah. Maybe why I never have problems.

I don't sit around and wait.....I drop at the prepaid area of the counter and and give the counter girl a winkπŸ™ƒ.....UPS is an access point and all they do is scan to initiate and enter my email address so I get an email confirming.its at the access point and the driver picks up later.

Par4QC Except the P.O. NEVER weighs a prepaid.

And this is why I quit going to the Mason PO. They weighed everything, but The way their scale and counter was set up they had to stand long packages on end and then wanted to hold it with their hands. I told them that's not the way you weigh something. I don't go there anymore or at least very few and far between. Those beotches think they're cops.

I did send a letter-size USPS envelope to my son in Senegal, and 7 months later it came back--intact too.
