Regardless of any circumstances, things like that should never be uttered out loud, in print, or even just under one's breath. I cannot recall ever doing it, and hopefully, I never will again. For all I know UD could actually be Phileo, and would have caused him great despair. I've had 2 suicides in my own family.

@UnholyDefenestrator78......I truly do want to make an apology. I am certainly not the person you think I am, no matter what you 'want' to read into any posts.

Like I've stated prior.....I was raised 1 way.....but I learned another way.
And 1 learned memory is to apologize for gross misconduct, after failing to remember not to do such.
Which I sincerely do, and did.

And apologies to @Mattyv also. And others that were offended in any way by my foul thoughts.

    I have interacted enough with you over the years to know the type of person you are. I would not, if I thought you were a bad person. Having dealt with suicidal people myself, I can't condone your words. I also realize you have been subjected to some unreasonable harassment by everyones favorite new member. You owe me no apology. If we could practice a little more civility, it would go a long way.

      Par4QC I’m not sure an apology is warranted … at least toward UD. But I do understand your wanting to provide one. You have character. Given his stated intent, he probably took your out-of-character response as a “win”. The fun for these keyboard cowards appears to be in creating that level of angst/frustration. Why they would chose to behave this way/derive enjoyment, however, is beyond my understanding (or at least my desire to waste any amount of time trying to understand). Life is too short to not ignore, especially when I’m losing absolutely nothing of value.

        I am aware that so much of the provocation that led to your statement was false that I didn't even give your response a second thought.

        I think that the majority of people that visit the forum are pretty much who they are in real life...and then there are those that only want to provoke. I can honestly say that I wouldn't say anything here that I wouldn't say to your face....not sure about the others..

          What you said aloud isn't something that most of us haven't at least thought said to ourselves in our minds.

          I really do believe the ignore feature helps remove the need for apologies. Trolls eventually leave and find another community to infect once they no longer get the attention they crave.


          Bravopilot We got around 12" yesterday. I'll be pulling out my roof rake if we have another major storm coming. Thankfully, the extended forecast looks good. Same thing different year...March storms suck especially @ 3 per week.

              backinit Yeah, the snow is so wet and heavy with these March storms...end of the driveway is just slush boulders from the plow.

                Unfortunately, a couple posters here ruin it for the rest.....always bringing in politics despite the numerous requests by Justin and the membership.....and most recently all the other crap from the "new" guy

                Best to simply put them on ignore rather than let them get under your skin as for one of them at least that seems to be his purpose in life, which is truly sad when you think about it.

                typical judgemental, all-knowing, assuming venom. You're human buddy, and you're forgiven. If we stop feeding the trolls, they go away.
