There are geese on the course I played this morning too. They aren't making as big of as mess as the did the past two years though. The course has a couple of Liquid Petroleum Cannons that sound like a small cannon when they go off.
They go off every couple of minutes and have been fairly effective in reducing damage by the geese. I don't hardly notice them when they go off but I'm sure some golfers don't like them.
