candukid Thing is that we don’t normally see them. This was a treat for Southern Ontario. The pinks were not really visible but the camera picked it up. This is one time when the pics were better than the real thing. Although it was spectacular seeing them across the whole sky. Going to try agin tonight. If the clouds hold off.
Bravopilot candukid Yes, very cool to see. For me, the fascination is how they are created and what is out there exactly. Have flown at night just staring into the lights hoping to see something. Maybe some kid waving a wand and making the lights move.👍
mulegolf candukid Thing is that we don’t normally see them. This was a treat for Southern Ontario. They were visible here in Minnesota as well the past couple of nights. We seldom see the them as far south as I live. I've only seen them twice in my life.-
Supp Playing Scrabble yesterday and I drew up this lot of tiles midway through the game. Nice! Oh well, at least I could spell farm . . . as in E - I - E - I - O .
LBlack14 d5n03 Looks like King’s Island. Yep. My fastest way to and from work, when it's closed. I live about 2-3 miles from and can watch their, nightly, fireworks from my driveway, in the fall.
d5n03 LBlack14 I grew up in Coshocton & Fairfield counties. Lived in Cincinnati for a short while. I know Ohio pretty well & I know the area where you reside. Been to King’s Island several times as a kid.
SVonhof This was a few Friday's ago during a "Live After 5" music event put on by the city. I even caught a balloon flying away:
